I always try to wave. I had the lady friend with me once and a blue vert waved at us, so of course I gave a friendly wave back. She was astonished that we did that. I guess people in Hyundai accents (her car) don't do the whole wave thing.

Depends on mindset at the moment. Bad thing is my communist state has made it illegal to warn of a cop with flash of lights and most think that is what your doing. So the just slow down.

Do you wave / flash lights to other e30's you see on the road? I just encountered my first one while driving mine, and didn't know what the etiquette was. Panic set in!

Waving in my Jeep, VW Type II, and Kharmann Ghia was the norm. My old Beetle, not so much.
