Its going on enough that when I posted a picture in the Bimmerfest thread of a couple of guys getting cuffed by the cops (and they guys appeared to be Latino) that Mariano immediately assumed I was implying something by it. I wasn't - it was just the first good pic I found on google search of someone getting cuffed and stuffed.

And I didnt say anything, I just said "what the fuck is that supposed to mean" giving you a chance to explain. Im usually not the guy to bitch about shit like this. Shit, Im not even Mexican, Im from a whole different continent that speaks spanish (that exists? or is Argentina just a province of Mexico?). Its like what the Supreme Court Judge said about porn. "I cant define the difference between art and pornography, but I know it when I see it". Well, its the same thing here. I can tell when someone says it in a joking way, shit Ive even participated seeing as Im latino just to play along and add that extra irony, but when a story about some waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles passing a truck has to include an unimportant fact about the assumed nationality of the occupants which again, had no importance to the story, thats just intolerance showing through. It wasnt meant to be a joke, since the point of the story was about the person passing said truck and discovering that the E30 was a damn good car. Stop putting me in the box of those stupid fuckers that get mad whenever you say "blackball", "black listed" etc. "Oh why everything bad gotta be black?". I had enough of those oversensitive ethnoccentric fuckers as my friends in high school. Brown Pride my ass. Its everyone for themselves when its convenient. Lesson learned.

SOmeone close this thread. It was to tell people to watch their words, and I think everytones read this. Seeing as there are still people who dont see the difference between lets-not-be-quakers ribbing, and outright racist comments, this thread has done all the good it can. Its easy to be so racist when you dont deal with the people all the time and get to know them. How about being racist towards the multi-billion dollar companies C.E.O.'s that (to absolutely maximise profits and squeeze the extra 4 cents from your wallet) hire all these workers? If we paid what technically we should be paying these people, wed have to pay$17 for a head of lettuce and $100 for non-designer jeans. First get knowledge, then speak. I do industrial bookkeeping in Los Angeles, the absolute hub where all those trendy fuck jeans are made. Citizen of Humanity, Seven for All Mankind, so I know these people and who they are. I know the largest manufacturer of Sevens in the city. He came here and started with one sewing machine in the 70's. Hes a citizen and his 3 companies now have about 400K in payroll every week. FROM NOTHING. Some of THE hardest working motherfuckers along with the Vietnamese that I know. The garment industry is one of the most regulated and ballbreaking industries to work with and is the only one that gets the regular audits, inspections, and enforcements from the government. After all, god forbid anyone but who "should" be getting rich illegally do it, huh?
