V@V is the best for those that don't want to deal with egos. just hang with a group and have a good time. Doesn't matter who, everyone is nice.

Correct! This is as much a car show as it is a gathering of people that enjoy vintage BMWs. Its almost about the people as it is about an E30. I enjoy the community that revolves around the Vintage crowd.

I like cars as a whole so Ill check out shows from fiestas only, ratrods, muscle, donks, or monster trucks. I pop over and look at the SW page from time to time and there are plenty of nice rides there. If one dislikes SW for what they have done to cars, then they are feeding the fire. Im sure someone out there thinks that my e30 is boring...no care. It moves me.

Personally, i believe this is 99% of the "problem" there's two sides to every car "genre" there's guys who restore classic cars back to stock and guys who "hot rod" them, youll always have the purist talking shit that they ruined the car and vice versa.. its the same with all kinds of cars

So what if theres a group of kids who would rather run stretched tires on there bmw/vw then do an overpriced suspension and road race it, its his or her car to do whatever they want.. does it directly effect your life if they get 100000 likes on IG or where ever they post it? if they wanna buy extremely expensive wheels and and destroy their fenders with them does that effect your car?
If people just worried about there own lives more then everyone elses everyone would be happy..

As for the "they dont know anything about cars they just do wheels and airride" you guys clearly dont go to many car oriented gatherings because whens the last time you talked to a middle aged guy with a new vette or camaro or M3 or M5 and they had a clue what the hell was going on.. you dont have to be a car god to own a modified car, if they are happy with it why should it bother you at all?

I love it because, unlike Bimmerfest, it's only vintage cars....and with that a generally more mature crowd. No e90s with blasting terrible music through their aftermarket fucking stereos. No e36s on bags. Vintage has interesting cars. Not "listen to what mommy and daddy bought me" cars.

Atleast when the F&F Fad was going on , every "Mod" was done with Performance in mind. To make the Car Handle Better and go faster even if it wasnt executed well. Now "Building" a car is all about all the attention you get from 16 Year old Kids on the internet.

.Every Stancetard is the same, you get more scene points for how undriveable your car is and how much youve ruined it. And then your automatically considered a "Hater" if you dont approve of it.

The whole Stance Culture is now just a bunch of 16-25 Year Olds Jerking eachother off about their ruined cars.

No, that's not what he's saying. He's talking about mods that ruin the car. You ever see those kids on the road dodging around every little dip and bump in the road so they don't scrape? i understand exactly what hes saying, i have a bagged e30 and ive built everything from SUPER low daily drivers to 3000hp drag race cars for customers, but what im saying is how does that effect him? is HE the one avoiding everything in the road?

it can go both ways, just because HE considered it ruined doesnt mean everyone else does
personally i think cars look WAY better super low but you dont see me bashing people that dont believe what i think is "cool"
Nobody takes into consideration what most of these cars do for the majority of there life, there not meant to go to the track and take corners at 100mph, they are meant to drive down the road from point A to point B and (in the owners eye) look good.. just because they dont fit your standard of what a car should be what give you the rite to bash them for it?

and have you ever personally driven a very low car? you act like if you hit a bump the wheels are gonna fall off and its gonna put the car on its roof, yea there are some exceptions but every car ive ever driven that was super low still rode great.. it wasnt meant to do SCCA events just get me where i had to go
