E30 DD or Toy?

I'm curious in wondering if members here actually depend on their e30 for daily living/driving as their main source of transport, or if their e30 is simply a "toy" to play around with on sunny days and weekends.


Personally mine doesn't see rain/snow and is stored over winter. Purely a toy.

My e30 isn't special to anyone except me. It would be a tragedy if I didn't drive it

Mine would be a DD....if it wasn't broken... and didn't leak water. So I guess it's a garage queen.

The only thing that keeps me from dailying it all year long is the a/c i have done the pf condenser and all that but the a/c is still mediocre its a toy but have no problem driving it on a regular basis

One of each. Or make one both.

Mine is a toy but I would not hesitate to DD it. It is my transportation for trips to the store.

Been dailying e30's (on my third one) for 2-3 years. I would not mind keeping my e30 on the side for just funz, but only if I had a newer bmw.

I rotate DD duty between my E30 and my CB7...i find myself driving the E30 much more often. cuz reasons

Just picked up a e30 for a DD had an e36 but I still got my other e30 which will be the weekend toy/ race car

I DD one while the other one is out of commission getting repaired. It's sort of rare that they're both fully functional at the same time. I've been doing this for, geee, 4 years when i bought the coupe and DDing just the vert for another 2 years before that?

Right now I'm DDing my 04' Camry XLE simply because the e30 is under the knife. I wouldn't give up my e30 over any of my material posessions, I'm attatched to it and frankly it's part of my self image. wuuuuuuuut.
