If you need a buddy to bring alone in the trip il come haha, Soon you'll have a whole bunch of e30 guys driving from one side of states to the other lol.Comment

The car is in SeaTac which is right out of Seattle, and I'm sure it's spent some time in Seattle. It was in Yakima before that.
Absolutely, the E30 community seems great in that respect. I'm still working on details for driving it out.
Haha right on man! The road trip alone would be a blast.Comment

I know this is over a year old, but just wondering, what did you end up doing?
I've gotta move states, and I'm looking around at shippers now. Did you ship or drive?Comment

Needing a car moved as well. Looking at uship and wondering how many of the feedbacks are shell feedbacks.Comment

I ended up shipping the car. I contacted a lady I knew from Texas that was a broker since she shipped so many vehicles. Put in a bid for $850 and some Russian dude picked up the E30 and brought it from Washington to Philly. Not even sure what the company was, she did all of the leg work.
Uship wanted $1250 for the same trip.Comment

Thanks for letting us know.
Don't suppose your broker friend is still in business? :)
I gotta ship from TX to FLComment

Uship has done me right the 3 times I've used them, very communicative and hassle free. Why you moving to FL by the way? You're just trying to be as far away from me as possible huh?

Just a follow up if anyone cares, I ended up going with Montway.
Pretty good deal, both cars picked up and delivered on time, and they kept us in the loop with progress too.
Most importantly the cars were unharmed.Comment

I got my M5 transported from Indianapolis to the Bay Area back in 2012. My biggest takeaway from the experience is that it's best to get a car transported by someone who has their own trucks. Brokers are a pain in the ass and a waste of money.Comment
