I'm on IE stage 3 springs, too low for me sometimes since I hate being that one car that slows traffic down to a complete stop while you have to take a speed bump or dip in the road at a .00000005 mph

I already did raised my car up a bit, it doesn't hit anything atm. I used to be able to hit the reflectors on the road with my skid plate. So you guys can see the difference. I just wanted to know if maybe I was doing something wrong but I guess not. As I did everything people here suggested.

          get better suspension

i can drive my bagged (a bag is just an adjustable coil spring, before someone claims otherwise..) convertible with the front engine crossmember literally an inch off the ground, doing the speed limit, and never hit anything

alot of "cheap" coilover companies just use a generic dampening setting for multiple cars to save money.. a proper spring rate and dampening and you can ride as low as you want without hitting anything..

That's how low it was, now it's about 1-1.5 fingers higher.

And I have 8k spring, I'm assuming it's not enough then? I'm also trying to get Megan's to send me one piece coils for the rear as right now I have two piece and it's not stiff at all even on the highest dampening.

H&R springs, M50 swap. I only scrape on really bad speed bumps.

a bag is just an adjustable progressivecoil spring
                  fixed that for ya...

...and yes, I agree, bags CAN make very nice springs, done right.

I love my RD springs on Hartge bilsteins. Perfect height, handling, and comfort.

Looks? Not so much. She's a dirty, cancerous blonde with a very broken face and no smile because animals beat her.

                            you should all be ashamed

bump steer is a hoe, and the camber curve (aka dynamic camber) of a slammed e30... well, its less than ideal lol

                                I see 4 possible scenarios.

                                1) Car statically lower than the height of everyday bumps and smashes them.

                                2) Spring rate too weak for ride height.

                                3) Shock valving too weak for ride height.

                                4) Girlfriend too fat.

                                Solutions:

                                1) Raise car.

                                2) Stiffer springs or raise car.

                                3) Stiffer shock valving or raise car.

                                4) Acquire girlfriend with less displacement or see (2,3)
