I think pretty soon the E46 M3s will hit their Nadir, and start rebounding. I really want to buy one next year, before that happens... Missed my shot at an E30 M3 before the prices skyrocketed!

You can find pretty decent e46 M3s in the low teens fairly easily. I sold mine for $13.2k a few months ago, and it needed nothing. The price's of clean e36 M3s are slowly passing those of mediocre e46s which is just blowing my mind.

If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

What is silly low prices for E39 M5's? Ive seen most of them in my area at the $15k+ range... not exactly silly low to me.

A 9k E46 M3 is most likely in need of a complete suspension overhaul, and will probably have extensive subframe cracking. That's not even considering what the engine and electrics might need. What's there to wrap your head around?

I'd rather have the E90. At least the 4 door has some utility. If i wanted a 2 door, id get an E46..

Exactly! I never thought I see this! I have vivid memories of both of these cars being brand new. I still have the dealer brochures tucked away somewhere.
