If all is as it appears and the mechanicals are good you can't help but come out way ahead.

I think the car was hit pretty hard in the rear and that drove the nose down and pushed the car into the car in front. Judging from the amount of damage in the rear, the whole thing started there.Originally posted by ddongbapSucks how the car in front of the BMW was high enough to miss the bumper.Richard

Either way there is a shitload of salvageable parts.
IT doesnt look like there was much intrusion into the engine bay. The only things I would expect to be damaged would be the radiator and engine fan. If any of the intake was damaged no big whoop because that is all trashed in the OBD1 conversion anyway. The M50 manifold alone is much better.Im now E30less.

The radiator is pushed up to the block, and the fan in front is busted. Don't know if the blades are replaceable.Originally posted by Ryan StewartEither way there is a shitload of salvageable parts.

It has a brand new set of tires on it. The little molding tits are still everywhere one them. They are Mirada Sport GTXs. Never heard of that brand, though.Richard

if you don't want the motor, I'll give you 1200 to ship it to me. all I need is the motor and headers, no ecu, wiring, tranny, etc.....
