    E30 factory options, what do these options mean?

    0032 9576 100% PACK

    0941 Special equipment handling
    ^^^ apparently this means that the car was ordered with extra wrap to protect during transportation to the dealer

    0904 SPECIAL

    0281 16" CHROME WHLS ROUND


    What does 0032, 0904 reference? What 16" wheels is 0281 referencing?

      0281 means that once the tires are mounted, the diameter of the wheels is 16 inches
      If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

                  Cosmoline is great, not sure why anyone would want to remove it, its rust proofing on steroids.

                      941 - On modern BMWs it means external retrofitting. For example, a BMW Service car would have this option. On older BMWs it means a special request. I'm not 100% certain about this option, but I'm 99% sure it has nothing to do with extra coating. Where did you see this option? Is it on the buildsheet that you got under the seat or on the buildsheet that you can get online?


                      904 - Again, this is an internal code which are hard to verify since they are not used in sales documents. I believe 904 means that the car is intended for government tests and compliance checks.

                      0281 - If this is for E30, then it means, Light-alloy wheels, Style 5, 6.5Jx14 with 195/65 tires
