    Nah, that was me man

I saw your location on r3v and cranked a trip to Atlanta Taken-style just specifically to spite you. Little did I know I misread my target car. I'll get you next time

So today on my way to work, I signaled, then switched lanes and got in front this Honda Accord. I didnt cut him off, but he did try to close the gap to prevent me from getting in front of him (which is a typical asshole LA driver thing, and the reason why most people here dont use their signal). The guy in the Honda immediately flipped me off. I gave him a thumbsup, laughed and continued on my way... Everything doesnt need to get escalated when dealing with dumbass drivers.

I do a good bit of what I call "passive" defensive driving. For example, I'm on the interstate (right lane) going about 77mph when someone drives almost up along side of me, so that they fall directly into my blind spot and proceed to stay there indefinitely. Me, being the passive asshole that I am, do a maneuver called the "sleepy driver". It's where when you slowly drift into the offender's lane just enough to make them nervous the JERK the wheel back into your own lane as if you just woke up all of the sudden like. 100% effective.

Also, zero passing on the right allowed. I'll close that gap quicker than a cat can lick his ass with his tail up and his tongue out.

A takeover of public access radio and tv should seriously be thought about, just to explain slower traffic should move to the right. If even 30% changed their habits, good god, that would be amazing.
Sometime it is hard to drive on the right lane. The right lane usually have shit road and super slow driver. I'm driving 70mph and the car in front of me is driving like what 55mph. Change lane to the left and that idiot is tail gating me while I'm already doing 80mph. On a three lane highway, its quite dangerous to keep changing lane just to pass slow car on the middle lane. This happen to me a lot; changing back to the middle lane after passing another car in the middle lane and the car on the right lane is also changing lane to it's left.

So what I usually do is ride on the fast lane until I pass all the slow cars then merge back into the right lane.

Sucks to read something like that, glad that the wheel got sorted out. Do you have a tread on the e39? Looking at used ones right now to, lusting after something comfy for the highway commute

I guess bad drivers are prone to some areas, In New England/ VT I have never had any issues whatsoever in traffic. In Belgium, bmw's are extremely common and have quite a lot less status then in the states

I see about 50 diesel 5 series a day and even more one series. With my daily driver full mtech e36 vert the only thing that happens is that people want to race me or give a thumbs up. Not really any bmw hate here at all.

I'm the type who if some waffleswaffleswaffleswaffles did that to me I would likely be out of my car before the bitch had the time to make any motion at me. As I get older (almost 40) I have absolutely no tolerance for shit like that anymore, the way I am these days I would have blocked her in and smashed her fucking windows out. I am not nearly as laid back as I was in my 20s.

But no one ever fucks with me.

Meh I've noticed the worst drivers are people in SUVs and mini vans. I'n my car I've never been cut off by another bmw driver, hell I've never been cut off by a Porsche guy either. It seems like the cooler the car someone's driving the better driver they are. Busy moms in SUVs and mini vans don't give a shit and won't start giving a shit until they reared a semi truck at 45mph.

I've never been blinded by a BMW riding around with its highs on day or night. Around here we leave that to everyone else it seems.

When it comes to excuses I think having a couple screaming kids in the back seats as a pretty good one.

I'm guilty of this one. If I'm in line of a few cars in the left lane to pass a car, and someone comes changes into the right to pass us and try to cut back in further up, then I will choke up on my following distance.

Same shit if one lane is closed because of an accident, and everyone is merging into one lane. There are always the people who speed up the empty lane and cut in the front of the line. I understand that it would save room for people to stay in both lanes until the accident scene, but merging into one lane once you know there's an accident ahead makes it easier for emergency vehicles to get through.
