Anyone have a favorite aftermarket pedal brand?

Thinking of anodized aluminum pedals. Anyone like one set more than the other? As far as quality, stickiness, looks, etc. I'm thinking if I go name brand, something newer and not so much alpina etc

Thinking either gray aluminum or metallic red. Appreciate your thoughts

I wouldn't recommend name brand. Look up e30 pedal covers on ebay. A piece of aluminum is a piece of aluminum no matter what brand name is stamped on it.

^ I also saw the turner motorsport pedals, which aren't as expensive but don't come with a dead pedal. I'm aiming to make this kind of an understated, subtle detail and I'm trying to play the line between red being too blatant vs matching my interior

That's really where I'm leaning right now.

Get the ACS ones... I like the black set. Too bad you can't get the rubber backings in red. That would be great. Black and red.

Those are slick! I like that they are all metal, no rubber bits to fall apart after 5 years.

well, aluminum is aluminum, but there are two issues. The first one is you're supporting 3rd world sweatshop labor and knock off products (like the very common ACS pedals on ebay). The second is most of them come with those rubber grips, which are presumably glued on. I'm willing to bet it won't be long until the dollar store grade glue they used and the cheap rubber starts to fall apart.

Someone gave me an automatic set of replica ACS pedals years ago. I put them on a cabrio I flipped. The rubber is mat with nobbles that protrude through the aluminum holes. It's a backing that's sandwiched between the pedal and the aluminum face. They wont peel off, but I have no idea as to the longevity of them not ripping off.

The pedalhaus/bmwpedals look like serious quality pieces. Mmmmm.

Bought these for my swap, haven't driven with them yet but build quality is top notch. Also I went for the black which look a little more subtle. The guy was super cool to deal with and even sent me a narrow dead pedal (I think from their RHD pedal set) to use in my vert. Highly recommend.

I have a set of Walmart pedals.

Pulled my brake and clutch pedals marked them drilled holes thru the clutch and brake to match the one on the pedal kit.
turned out pretty good. can post pic if anyone cares.
down side is no gas pedal cover.

I saw a pic of some shitty looking aftermarket pedals somewhere (won't mention where) If I get anything it'd be a nice set of either aluminum or black pedals. I really didn't like how much even the plain aluminum pedals stuck out in the pic I saw. I was hoping it'd be a much more understated detail
