A guy in my town had an '82 S10 that he swapped a 327 V8 into back in the late '80's. The motor had a lot of work put into it, and I don't know the HP output, but lets just say it was WAY more than what the chassis was designed for.

The truck had so much power it was hard to drive-it would literally spin the rear tires unless you just barely pressed on the throttle. With slicks on the rear, I don't think he ever lost a race.

nice. I want a pickup truck so I can just load my motorcycle in the back for trackdays, but I think I'm just gonna end up getting a trailer to pull with my e30

So you buy everything but E30s now? :P

I know the E34 will be sweet though.

I'll give you one to two weeks (tops) before someone asks you to help them move something. Always happens when you own a pick-em-up truck.

Sunoco's actually got a deal right now where they're looking for people sporting the sticker, they're giving away a free tank of gas. I've seen a lot of these stickers popping up.

Nice score, man. I'm looking for something exactly like that right now, but I'd like to find a Toyota, but an S10 like that would be cool, I had an '85 GMC S-10 in high school, that was a great little truck. I need something like that to use as a daily beater, so I can retire my E30 as my daily/driving to work vehicle, and also so I can keep my E30 garaged over the winter.

What's wrong with the E30 as a daily, Josh?

                            Heeter? Is that you?

The truck is awesome... I regret nothing;)

I would like to get back into E30's... I'm just running low on garage space and I don't think the wife would understand a forth BMW with a 5-speed titled under my name. Then there is the dilema of me wanting to buy a fixer upper for cheap and giving it the TLC that it needs, or just finding one on R3V that is perfected and buy it when it eventually sells cos you guys need "room for a baby", or "the wife doesn't understand" or "the college bills are due and I'm short on beer and reefer money".

My first car was an 85 s10 blazer. It ruled. 4wd 3inch lift on 33s I loved it! I wish I had more pics of it. What is the motor size? Is it the 2.8 ot the 4.2?
