I know this is an e30 forum but...

Hello wise members of rev, today in beautiful Columbia Tennessee I wrecked my e36 m3 vert and the rollover bars deployed destroying my rear window even more and my back and front bumpers are f**ked and i already removed them from the car. Also my car has an oil leak from the oil pan gasket i presume that was there before. I also have a dent on the panel behind the gas cap. I already put the rollover bars down and honestly I'm tired of having a convertible and want to get back into the e30 world again. Im also pretty sure my power steering hoses are bad as well and it burns oil and needs a new starter soon. With all of the damage in mind, is my car totaled? I hope it is because I really want to swap my drivetrain into an e30 or just part the whole car out. ICE IS A B**CH.
My car is a 5 speed 1999 m3 convertible with 156,000 miles for value purposes to compare too, Silver with dove. Thank you.

e36 m3 vert. Good for parting out and e30 swaps.

M3 verts are meant to be parted out they should have been parted out from the factory

It seems like you really want this car to be totaled lol. Even if it isn't, pull the motor out anyways! Better to just swap everything onto an e30 rather than spend a lot of money to fix it.

That's what I'm doing if it ends up totaled I've always thought about this situation, just never thought it would happen. It was a really fun car and I had plans for it but I lust after e30s

Pics in this thread don't show anything useful... Pics of the interior have nothing to do with body damage... Might be savable.

But yeah, if you want, swap that s52/zf320 into an e30!

Did the insurance company inspect it yet? If not you could "massage" the dents a little with a bfh? ;)
