Nope, mine sold on Craigslist to an airman from Del Rio. Was listed here for quite some time at $7000 and then for $5000 no haggling as well for another 4-6 months I think. Can't remember exactly... trying to block the memory now seeing all these high dollar sales. ;)

I posted this on the auction but I think Don Mecca / aka FiberArtz / aka Westchester Fiberglass built a few really tortured E30s just like this.

He was in Port Chester NY, then he bounced back and forth between NY and FL, then finally moved to FL where this car originated. Might be a coincidence,,, might not be.

Don was the original builder of the Miami Vice Daytona TV car fiberglass body that went over a Corvette chassis. He made some cool race parts,,, but he was totally capable of turning out gems just like this thing and the side strakes were right up his alley.

I wonder if this is / was originally his handiwork???

I was going to say I was just looking at the eBay ad for that car(?) the other day.

Odd - when I posted that it said it was at 4800 with 0:00min left. Assuming it kept getting pushed back due to multiple people bidding? Congrats anyways!

Seeing what some m3s are going for I keep getting tempted to throw mine up there.

...then I think about how I will feel after the fact and stop thinking those silly thoughts.

Thats an M3 that looks to have been well cared for by everyone who has owned it. Really impressive that it has survived unmolested and in such good shape.

I'm more curious to see what happens on the Alpina B10.. If you got it cheap enough, and the main drive train bits can be proven authentic, it's not a bad deal (despite the questionable VIN stamping on the tower..)

That whole car is questionable if you ask me. I feel bad for the seller if he was unaware of what he has.

Odd interior in that B10 thought most were clothe with Alpina's signature fabric. Leather looks blah to me.
