2024 List: 169 E30s sold (23 more than last year +15% increase)
Average of E30s, not including M3s $21,815 (-5% YoY)
Average price, by model:
M3 (26) = $77,607 (-2.5%)
318is (10) = $16,835 (-12.5%)
325is (18) = $20,566 (+5%)
325i (23) = $15,113 (-11%)
318/ 325e (13) = $11,006 (-8.5%)
Convertible (38) = $13,027 (-33%)
Touring (11) = $13,900 (-25%)
Swapped (18)= $29,314 (-13%)
iX (6) = $18,080 (+36%)
Alpina/ Hartge (4) = $52,883 (-47%)
My thoughts: While the overall number of sales increase, so did the RNM, just a result of their business model. What stands out to me is that the specialized models; M3, Alpina, Touring, etc those 'rare' cars all dropped back to 'reality' levels. While the bread & butter 325i & 325iS model seem to have to dropped overall, twice as many were sold so I think these numbers represent a more realistic number of what the market sees as their value. In short, dont be afraid to 'invest' in your E30s because the market will repay you if/when you decide to sell. The questionable/ neglected cars all suffered more
