Yeah it's more than I would want to pay, but it's not 2015 anymore, there are no good enthusiast cars that are not overpriced these days. As always, mechanically sound seems overrated, because I don't know who in this day and age would rather have a perfect drivetrain in a body that needs work and paint than a blown up engine in a body that looks excellent.

I dont think the price was that far out of line... probably more of a 8-10k car, but throw it on BaT and weird things happen. Good sale and most of the 'issues' can be corrected fairly easily other than paint
A clean 318IS sells for a lot more
