    Saw that, cracked me up.

Pretty sure it’ll get flagged or removed..

I’m just really surprised when I see a car with four different tires. Even at my poorest, living on people’s couches and just putting $5 of gas in the car, I still would at least replace tires in pairs.
Even if they were used, I’d go for matched pairs.

Regardless, at 5k, it wouldn’t be a bad buy to go nuts with mods. Drivetrain, interior...etc., just go nuts.

Agreed - if it doesn't go for crack pipe prices, and you're not worried about originality then it'd be a great basis for a project. If the V12 dies, throw any V8 you like in there and just drive it.

Agreed. Buy it cheap and you still have one of the best looking coupes ever made.

+1 to that. They are beautiful cars.
Has anyone ever LS swapped an 8 series?

Too bad the mechanicals on the 8-series are so atrocious. Gorgeous body style-as noted.

There’s this thing. But I’m guessing it’s just an old small block and not an LS.

I'm sure someone has. The V8 models are a joke since the M60 is pretty much a dead end performance wise unless you have an enormous budget.

Wasnt exactly what I had in mind but they do get an A for effort and execution.

                    Really, A?

I’d almost say F, go home and do it again. Can’t stand the blower poking through the hood look on ANY car.

I came from hot rods and drag racing many years ago, still love it, my inner 16 year old still loves a belt drive blower (and blower whine) even as inappropriate as it is on an 8 series.
Not the direction I would have gone, but I can appreciate the FU factor of a blower through the hood of an 8 series a bit.
Someone put some effort into that, I'd give a pat on the back and buy him a beer LOL.

Reminds me of one of my favorite roadkill cars of all time, the Draguar. I don't enjoy irreverence for irreverence's sake, but some things don't deserve reverence. 70s jaguars that were pieces of junk to begin with and racy looking V8 GT cars that were slower than a V8 Mustang when new and 3x the price.

FWIW Jaguars of that era only came with “perfect” engine configurations... straight 6 and v12 [emoji13]

                          The Lucas electronics however... [emoji2357][emoji2357][emoji2357]

See I came from 60's muscle cars - but I was always keep it under the hood to keep 'em guessing.

Good luck keeping a 6-71 blower under the hood.

Most of the street racing guys around here ran NOS. There was one drug dealer who ran a 6-71 on his ‘69 Camaro, but for all its blower looks, it got beat a lot.. Most of the fastest cars were big block and nitrous. But this is in the old 9 and 10” slicks at most days, nothing was fully tubbed or backhalved.
