In the case of Steady 330, I don't see why Luke doesn't pay return shipping (if it was his mistake), and refund the rest when he receives the box. That would be the simplest way to handle it. If it was her mistake, ordering an E30 box and expecting it to fit an E46, I'd say she needs to quit complaining and own the mistake, but after reviewing the posts here, it sounds like she ordered an E46 box, but received an E30 box.

I have a picture somewhere of it, from her son, installed. No doubt about it, it is most assuredly an E46 box.
The only issue is the centering of the woofer in the skipass. It's about an inch off, her car may be the actual issue, as the box she has is an exact copy of one that fit perfectly.
She didn't even know the seats folded down.
Here are the two E46 boxes (folding seat coupe and fixed seat sedan):
Its not exactly obvious, but they are different in every way. They are different height, different angle, different width and the two steps on the bottom are different shape as well. The baffle is also a different shape, if that isn't obvious as well.
Christine didnt seem to mention that she had told me that she had the wrong car, that is why I accepted her massively discounted deal, after she begged me for two weeks for a better deal...it's not even her car.
Why anyone would think I sent her an E30 box is beyond me. They are nothing alike.
The one she got is the same one as is featured in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=naHs__4VMlw

Luke may be old and grumpy :) but he's not stupid.
Now I have to go and scrape out some trunk tar!

It hard for me to have perspective on it, since I spot the differences right off.
She got the right box, its only the woofer centering, according to the owner of the car.
It's supposed to be on center, like this Sedan:
And for anyone who thinks these "take a half hour" to build, go ahead and figure out just how to build those steps...at an angle, no less:

rturbo 930 :
You are correct. I ordered the e46 box and even exchanged emails with Luke before I did so, just to confirm all was well. Luke assured me the box was ready to ship, so I paid the funds via Paypal. Luke later nicely said he was mistaken and would need to make one, which was fine. But, what finally arrived clearly didn't fit. My son called and sent Luke pics. Luke agreed it was made incorrectly and gave several reasons, all of which centered around him not having the correct blue-print (measurements). No problem we said. Luke told us to pitch the box, and he would make the proper box and send at no extra cost. No box was ever made. Luke didn't offer a refund. When we got Paypal involved, Luke exploded and demanded we return the box at our expense.
Not a nice dude.

Luke is spreading lies upon his lies. I have the original emails proving I meant to and indeed ordered an e46 'folding seat' box and amp rack.
No misunderstandings. And I did not 'beg' Luke for a discount, I merely asked if GAS was running any specials (as they often do).
There is NOTHING wrong with my son's 2004 330Ci. If the box Luke sent was for an e46 folding seat, then it should have fit. It didn't fit (speaker hole off-center) and I cannot be held liable for that. BMW put the ski pass in these cars via an assembly line. I'm sure BMW didn't misalign my son's ski pass at the factory.
Additionally, I have written texts from Luke describing his crashed Hard Drive and back-up hard drive where his blue-prints for the e46 were kept. Ostensibly, he made this box from memory and got it wrong. Everything went down-hill from there.
Luke, you made this problem happen and you don't have the courage to fix it. Your ego is in the way.
