    "Euro" California 1960 legacy plate

So about a week ago, I was searching for a cool customized california plate phrase for my e30 and I came across "Euro". To my surprise it was not taken on the DMV website, and I bought it instantly. I ordered the black and yellow legacy plates. Anyone have any cool short phrased license plates for their e30?

In CT low number plates are the thing. If your car has a 3 or 4 digit plate, you are cool (or have lots of money, or know someone high up etc etc).

I was behind a guy with a red '55 thunderbird convertible with an antique plate number of 3

There was another guy with a white C7 corvette that had a license plate which read A. The letter A.

So, do you ever ask someone to drive your car just so you can see your plate in their rear view?

I need to go pick mine up, but I have 'BAR S54'

I should do that before GGC's meetup this weekend.

Just spoke to a lady at DMV...she says you have to pay an annual charge for the plates and an additional charge if it's a vanity plate? That sucks. Anyone know what the annual charge is just for the plates?

Actually - just took a quick look at the website and I think it's 90 the first year, and 40 per year after that, independent of personalization or not. I'm fine saving the cash for now, but if they ever do the 80s Rising Sun style plates, I'm in.

I think its $40 annually on top of regular registration renewal.

I have "LOW E30" on my car in normal California plates.

                              I'm super cool.
