I'm still a little behind, but I watched the two part special they did. Am I the only one that thought it was a little dull? Too much fat, not enough meat.

I think they killed it in Ep. 1. I'm half way through episode 2 and not really paying attention.

Anywho, I'm just glad to have the "Crew" back together. Regardless of the name of the show, or the setting, they will be entertaining together.

Your reaction has been how I've felt about all of the episodes. First one, awesome. Since then, I find myself constantly getting distracted and it's because the show just isn't holding my attention.

Before TGT aired, they released a promo about them finding Ben Collins in a dumpster or something. What happened to him coming on the show as himself?

That was from a Top Gear Live "episode". Had nothing to do with The Grand Tour. It was actually pretty old, but popped up again just before TGT aired, so everyone thought it was a preview of what was to come.

The American needs to be replaced. There are a bunch of more pallatable drivers out there that still give you the sense of "He must have been born in a pickup with Nascar and NRA stickers on it".

As has been mentioned previously, he was born in California.
