The E30 generation of BMW 3 Series is a great car. Overrated? Yeah, probably. But they’re fun and iconic enough that it’s now incredibly hard to find one that isn’t rusted, modded, stanced, engine-swapped, raced, beaten to death or some combination of those things. We did find one, and if you want it, it’ll cost you a pretty penny.

That is the worst steering wheel, they could have found a nice m tech to match the shifter knob. Plus the cold start vacuum valve has a weird blue vacuum line that goes to intake so I believe that is not stock.

Apparently it hasn't moved since the timing belt was done in 2016

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

I don't get why you would store a poverty-spec car for 32 years - were the mtech-1 cars not available in 1985? or at least a 323is..

Don't think an M20-powered car was poverty spec in Europe, but this is definitely not "highly optioned." Would love to know the back story.

it's got ugly steel wheels and flat black mirrors/spoilers - if it didn't have the 323i badge you'd probably mistake it for a 316i. :p
