    No, I am not quite your age (turning 60 in a couple of years), but I have heard this term being used for a long time.

    It does look like a Baur convertible early model car, but they refitted the entire drive line, so late model expansion tank. Also, the side of the B-pillar says "D'Resi", not "Baur". It's also kind of interesting that they converted it to a late model instrument cluster to go along with the drive train.
