If you can't get a set of vice grips in there. you may have to remove the rad to get enough room. It sucks, but it might have to be done.

a drill wont be needed, there is a big head on that sucker so some channel locks or vise grip will get it off. Radiator is so easy to take off its no big deal.

Vise grips FTW. Every M20 has done this to me. I think the PO's torque them down fearing they will come off

                      Same thing happened to me.
Used PB Blaster and small vise grips to remove.
I removed the philips head screws in the new rotor
and replaced with .5 8mm hex head, 16mm long bolts I found at
O'riellys. 8mm socket is soooo much easier.

I tried that also..but the round head is hard to grip..I just picked up a small t-handle tap wrench and a small screw extractor...

If you have a dremmel you could cut cut a slot in the screw head to fit flat screwdriver.
Easy out should work if you can get drill in there.
                          Good luck.

                              tried pb, will not work...
I picked up a T handle taping wrench and a screw extractor, if that doesn't work, im gonna try the dremmel thing..
