    Mileage, and Gas mileage?

how many miles do your guys' cars have on them? and what kind of gas mileage do you get? my odometer broke at 247,686. and my trip meter doesnt work, but based on the mileage i used to drive in my sentra every week i estimate i get about 25-26 miles to the gallon. i just wanna compare, and see whos car has the highest mileage.

179k on my eta 25 mpg city and 30 freeway. My 325is w/ 199k gets about 15/18...but thats with a turbo and rich running MS (soon to be dyno tuned).

              186k and I get 17-18mpg ;)

okay, so it's only 5k on a gas guzzling M20 stroker. but right now i"m driving a 318is with 245k and I get about 30.. this car is beat to hell too. :D

does the chip affect the gas mileage that bad?

i'd also say that the 4.10lsd ups the revs quite a bit. the cars stock differential is at about 3k @70mph, with a 4.10lsd, isn't it more like 3.5k?

Also, i lost 1mpg when i chipped my car

                          This doesnt help you but,

84k on the motor, fresh top end rebuild.

                          I get around 25-27mpg freeway @ 75-80
and 25 around town so far.

Just back from a trip, 800 kilometers, I got 12 kilometers per liter.

My count is 348.000 on the odo (that's kilometers.)

28.1 miles per gallon (if I'm not mistaken).

That's on mostly hill roads in the andes.

                            My car is a 316 with a 4 cyl. 1.600 engine.

it's sad that a completely anemic motor like the 1.6l M40 doesn't fair much better fuel economy than the M42. maybe it's the increased efficiency of the 16 valve head?
