That would be assuming you could afford TCD's setup. Which you almost certainly cant, as it is more then your car is worth. That would also assume that I gave a flying fuck.

If I'm going to spend the asking price on that kit
We wouldn't sell you a kit if you offered to pay twice the retail price! And unless you want to gut your a/c and or put a custom front end on the car, there isn't sufficient space for an air/air intercooler. We will NOT offer a kit that is substandard just so it looks cool.

heh, it's definetly not worth more than my car, and you have no idea how much money I make ;)

not that I'd do a turbo anyway.. with 5g's, I'd probably do an S50 swap or something. I prefer NA power :)

Was there a point in saying that? I mean obviously I wouldn't buy the kit in the first place, let alone pay double price. 1x price is overpriced IMHO.

The point is that you obviously have no appreciation for function over form and you are clearly more concerned with asthetics while we are clearly more concerned with performance.

                This forum sucks

TCD, looks great man. Did you ever end up building an E30 CAI?

                  WOW.

                  TCD, it looks good man.

Jordan, sometimes its not about looks man. The Water-Air intercoolers flow a LOT MORE than FMIC's. When it comes to pure performance cars, FUNCTION comes before FORM. There are 2 reasons why people get FMIC's. 1. They have a show car, and want it to look cool. 2. FMIC's are a good deal cheaper than water intercoolers (in this case, 2 is me). By the way, my turbo setup was worth more than my car, I did it

Might want to get your bearings straight.

And this is why 3 years later you still have a non-driveable car. You realise, you are almost the epitome of "Rice"?? Rice being defined as all show and no go. Wow, a ported head, and a cam. A cam mod that you tell most people wont do shit on an otherwise stock M20.

TCD turns out bad ass products, and I have major respect for his quality, craftsmanship and ingenuity. Hate all you want, but when it comes down to it, I'd take his 325i Turbo over your "Custom Kitted" car anyday.

                      Harsh? Yes
                      Honest? Yes

I'm fed up with this forum and its ignorance and childish antics. Remove my mod status, ban me, whatever. There is a great injustice when you trash on knowledgeable and reputable people just because of looks.

Now I'll await your attacks on my beat to shit '87 325is, insults on its body condition, its high mileage, and the fact its not pristine. But to me, an e30 is a car to be driven, so i dont give a shit.

We all have different tastes on appearance and performance but that doesn't mean we shouldn't get along or be one-sided and vehemently biased.
