Exactly. Let me know in 15 years if hes the next schuie. As a matter of fact, i dont think anyone will be able to be at the top of the heap for their entire F1 carrier like schumacher.

Personally, i would of liked to see hamilton start out in a lesser car and see what he could do. The Mclarens are simply the best right now and will most likely be the best for a few years after this.

Having been at the race this past weekend, you could tell that Mclaren had a better car; different turn in, no real corrections through the corners, traction control hardly kicked in until way after the corner. That was the major difference between them and Ferrari. Massa and Kimi's traction control was kicking in a little before the apex of turn 11, the Mclarens didnt kick in until about 2 or 3 car lengths out of the corner.

I wouldnt talk much about Kimi, once a favorite of mine is quickly changing my mind. His performance is ridiculously lacking this year and it's a Ferrari. No excuses there. Massa is making him look bad, and Massa isnt all that great.

And again comparing the same cars different drivers, Hamilton is giving a two-time world champion (that beat Shumi twice) a hard time... and they both have identical cars.

Like I said, he very well could be the next Senna. Only time will tell.

I agree - Hamilton is a very promising talent and driving for one of the best teams in F1 certainly helps him positively. If his winning streak continues and takes the driver's title in his rookie season (read: seldomly happens), we will be witnessing what is likely to be a legend in the making. Like you said, time will tell.

Schuie once is more like it. In 2005 the tire rules screwed Bridgestone cars, seen as a deliberate attempt by the FIA to slow down Ferrari [ie schumacher]

Hamilton is making history every time he is in that race car. Such a young talent with much more to put into F1 he already is a legend in the making. Even if he were to not win the championship this year he will not be forgotton. Mclaren advantage or not, he knows how to win races. Mclaren gave both Alonso and Lewis the same pit strategies and Lewis came out on top. Hes been working for this since he was a little boy, telling Ron Dennis that he would win for him in his car one day and he made it happen, two times in a row. He has won my respect and continues to amaze me every race.

Team wise Mclaren deffinitely has the winning package this year. It took a lot of hard work to be back on top and they deserve it. Their success will push the other teams to get better and make them want to keep up with the Mclarens pace.

As far as Ferrari...I am disappointed by their drivers performance.

Bmw just needs to keep up their pace, they really have proven to be competitive.

It's a long season. All yopu have tyo do is go as far as last year between renault and mcclaren. I know the different tire manufactores made a difference but the lead swung back and forth several times. Thers's still 10 races to go.

also viva alonso, viva España but Hamilton is awfully quick

Looks like Ferrari may be back after their recent loses.
Good job to Hamilton for taking third.
                          Nice 4/5 for BMW.

I'm not convinced. Kimi and Massa are not that great. Ferrari is an awesome factory team, but the drivers, IMO, are not as good as they could be. If Mercedes can avoid blowing up their motors like last season, Mercedes/Mclaren + Hamilton will be hard to beat. BMW has been promising this season, too.

Kimi not that great? i have to disagree with that.....granted he does need to pull his head out.

i was a bit dissappointed that kubica could not stay close enough to hamilton that with Hamilton in a 3rd pit Kubica could not pass.. that was a bit weak I think

Overall though a good race. Glad to see Ferrari on top and BMW right behind them...
