yup yup its already been explained and confirmed by another guy on previous pages. These are lowering springs and struts not coilovers so there is no way for me to "have NO shock travel whatsoever" they are set at an come from the factory with a set drop. ;)

You won't go wrong with this one!!

      this is after settling

Coilovers wouldn't have any travel either, unless you had shortened shocks and shortened your strut housings as well.

I hear that!!! Thanks for the heads up. Well it took me the better part of the day :( but I got my front suspension in and drove it to work. Here are some before, middle, and after shots for you guys. I wont have time till friday to get the rears put in. Im a busy college student working two jobs :(

          before the drop...

after the drop :)... mind you the springs haven't settled yet, this is right after installation.

Here is a comparison of the stock front spring "left" and the ST 60 mm front spring "right"

Here is a picture of the setup as it came, don't worry they shipped it perfectly I just pulled everything out like it was Christmas :)

Some solid side shots, my fav's...

Here is a pic of the KW spring/strut installed...

All in all it was a great day and I was overly excited to acquire the stance I just payed $700 for. I am taking it real nice and slow to get used to the drop and the new setup. It seams some what stiff, yet totally fine for daily abuse. The install took me a bit of time, I like to work slow and thurow as to not miss anything. The one thing that pissed me off was the shitty spring compressor I picked up from Kragen, that POS wasted alot of time due to its slipping and taking forever to compress the spring. Other then that the install was pretty good. I think it took me about 4hrs, no power tools were used lol.

          Enjoy.

I will be putting the rears in on Friday so stay tuned and a review of the KW's will shortly follow.

          Peace

If the car was 2" lower and the rims were about ET10 that would look sick as fuck.

Looks great, alittle lower to pull of the rims or alittle more tire.

^^^totally. I bought these rims before I bought the car and didnt really know what size rim would work best. Funny thing is the guy that sold me the rims had a red e30 with these on them and I fell in love that is why I bought the e30 lol. I couldnt be happier at this point. I think later down the line I will pick up the same rim only in 16 and fill that gap with a little taller tire. I love the offset lol. Guess that spawns from my love for ae86's and the drifting JDM scene. I think my e30 will be complemented by my interest in cars and not just one trend. Thanks for the kind words guys. I will keep you posted.

HAHA hell yeah thats my friend Jasper. He is the one that got me into e30's all because of the rims lol. I bought the rims four days later I got the e30, 15 days later I got my suspention. IMO the KW's fit lower and have a much better stance then the ie3's.

whats up guys, I have some more pics of my stance and setup here if anyone is interested...

I like the over all feel of the ST "KW" setup its a bit soft, but works just fine for daily driving. For those of you interested in sprinted driving and auto cross I would suggest somthing with a higher variable spring rate. I think the next thing on my mods list after the skid plat would be some fat ass sway bars to keep away from the body roll.

If you have any questions hit me up with a pm.

I guess that the new ST springs are not the same as the old KW's because my springs were firm, I'd say the spring rates were just a tad softer than IE3's with hardly any bodyroll.

really :( damn that sucks. I am thinking of picking up a set of GC coilover and putting them over the shocks in front and rear with stiffer spring rates and call it a day, that way I can adjust it when I need to.

                            What do you think?

I was told buy http://www.ground-control-store.com/.../II=121/CA=241 and buy bilstein sports and its the best combo of ride quality, performance and adaptability. Any comments on this claim?
