Take out the 2.7x or 2.9x gears and put in some 3.2x or lower gears.

Get a Jim Conforti or Mark D chip, and swap in a 3.25LSD which will greatly increase acceleration. You should honestly experience a noticeable difference with these two mods.

I LOVE my eta. Daily driven for over a year. All I have done is change the oil and a couple mods here and there.

Filling an Eta's tank with super unleaded will reach the cars maximum attainable performance level .

Aa a bonus filling the tank will also double any Eta's resale value .

                        Best mod for the "e"....

....then go buy a 325i or 325is. More spirited performer right out of the box.

Yeah, everyone that owns an eta and is happy with it just so happens to also have a sick weekend car, like your turbo and Mariano's M3 (except for Josh :)).

                          Fanzotti, die please.

When you have an ETA it reallly helps if you havn't driven in any other car with power. So as far as I know, my eta is fast :P

I was in a super fast integra once however and It was amazing haveing it scream over 7K

                                I modded my 1988 Super Eta DD by parking a well-loved '88 M3 next to it. :D

The etas are great dds. Easy on gas with lots of 'round town torque-which is what they were intended to do.

Want speed? It's all relative-when you can buy a box stock Mazda that goes 155MPH and 0-60 in under 6 for 25K, almost any 80's BMW is pretty much a dog...

Rather have my E30 M3 than a brand new one, though. Can't fix the new ones myself....

Really, though....Conforti chip and a 3.25:1 LSD and be done. Those two transformed my Super E. Just changing the diff allows you to put down about 12% more torque to the rear wheels....
