Hate to break it to you but e30 speedos always read a little fast. When my speedo reads 60 I'm actually traveling 56-57 mph as verified by gps. I guess this is going to add another second to your 0-60 times.

I have never owned an eta myself, but my friend used to have one so I know what they are like. Im with JGood, people bash the eta too much. Its a respectable car. It wasnt meant to do insane 0-60 times (obviously). The thing is its still an e30 so why does everyone hate on them? honestly. They are good, reliable cars.

Now that everyone knows what an "e" will do. What will a bone stock "i" do 0-60?

I wish I would have done a few runs when I first got mine but I chipped if right after I went and got it registered.... damn.

I have the original owners manual and in the back it says it does like 8 or 8.5 I cant remember at the moment. When I read that I laughed.

Really, 4 pages and not a single verified time from anyone but myself, also my speed reads correct, tested it multiple times. its cause i have bigger than stock tires in back currently.

I found a Road and Track mag. test.

                    87is
                    0-60 7.4
                    1/4 15.6 at 88mph

                    86es
                    0-60 8.6
                    1/4 16.4 at 82mph

The time for the 0-60 on the e is different then what BMW put out on there ads. All the ads that i got say, 0-60 in ruffly 9.4???

well i know my 325 in it's old guise would stomp both my other 323i's, never timed it though. I'm guessing it'd do it in about 8s. Chipped with 3.46lsd.
