I have never owned an eta myself, but my friend used to have one so I know what they are like. Im with JGood, people bash the eta too much. Its a respectable car. It wasnt meant to do insane 0-60 times (obviously). The thing is its still an e30 so why does everyone hate on them? honestly. They are good, reliable cars.

I wish I would have done a few runs when I first got mine but I chipped if right after I went and got it registered.... damn.
I have the original owners manual and in the back it says it does like 8 or 8.5 I cant remember at the moment. When I read that I laughed.

I found a Road and Track mag. test.
87is
0-60 7.4
1/4 15.6 at 88mph
86es
0-60 8.6
1/4 16.4 at 82mph
The time for the 0-60 on the e is different then what BMW put out on there ads. All the ads that i got say, 0-60 in ruffly 9.4???

well i know my 325 in it's old guise would stomp both my other 323i's, never timed it though. I'm guessing it'd do it in about 8s. Chipped with 3.46lsd.
