oil pan on the car was the hardest job for me but i havnt done entirly too much

    Comment

maybe I'm a bitch but I had a pain in the ass time replacing the clutch master cylinder (which ever one is under th dash board). Nothing pisses me off more then working in small, sharp, dark areas with fluid on the inside of the car. :(

Wow, I had to take mine out because I dropped a nut down the oil return in the cylinder head. Took me about an hour from start to finish with nothing but conventional tools and a cherry picker. Surprisingly had a hell of a time finding the right order for the bellhousing oilpan cover. All the bolts are different lengths.

Dash is not easy, fiddly work. But it was out in 3 hours by myself, first time. Then again I knew half of what to remove.

Hardest work that makes you want to bazooka the car? The instrument cluster of the old eta. glad she's gone. Thing I wished never happened? the 325is wreck.

getting a chick to ride in it.

It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.

It all isn't too hard but the rear subframebushings is not something I look forward too doing.

I'd have to say either the entire rear sub-frame/suspension, or the oil pan,i've had to do them both.

The worst job I have done on the e30 is trying to get the exhaust off and then trying to get the mani's off of the M30 while in the car. They were rusted to shit and I had to grind one of the nuts off but other than that, is hasn't been too bad.
