How so? The spring rates are identical. The only difference is the fact that H&Rs are approved by SpecE30.

      "My plans are IE3 Springs(300$), "

Jordan - How long would stock RSMs last with IE, H&R or any other stiff(er) springs ?

      - I found spend the money on any needed maint, then tires and suspension first.

do maintenance first, mods later.. and don't waste your time with a MAF on a stock M20. after your car is running in top shape, start with suspension, and work towards the engine.

Hmm, sounds good. I think my rotor and pad setup is really good right now, I'll have to check the pads and see where they are at so I know if I need new pads or not.

I agree with this approach too. Make sure everything is in top working order before you start tweaking things. As for initial mods, start with the suspension, then wheels/tires, then brakes, then engine. In that order.

Because my suspension is already fine and dandy, I would put the money into gaining some hp, although I think the next thing I will do when I have the $$$ is add an MAF for better throttle response not hp. So in my opinion make it handle first, then add the ponies.

Go with H&R Race springs over the IE3's. You have late model arches. The IE3's although listed at the same specs, provide a "reverse rake" on late models (88+). Early models however, IE3's look fine on.

$500-$1000 is a LOT of money to pay for a marginal increase in throttle response

Interesting. So you are saying that on 88+ the back will sit lower than the front, but with HR Race it will have more downward look in the front?

So then it's worth 345$ to go with HR Race?
