If I had a grand to spend freely on my car, it would most likely all go into maintenance. Rebuilding the front and rear suspension, followed by engine maintenance.

      If I had a grand?

Megasquirt stand alone and time on a dyno.

Anything left over, and I'd get an Adjustable FPR.

Then I'd start collecting pieces for my 5lug swap. :)

Oh ya...I shoulda mentioned I wouldn't spend the money until I did my research thoroughly. hehe ;)

That makes sense...cause MS would run the fuel, huh? LOL

On an NA e30 yes, however there are instances where adjusting the base pressure can be beneficial.

I can't think of too many, if your injectors are properly sized. my 42# were actually cheaper than my FPR and I'm pretty sure they'll handle whatever I can throw at them. :p

I had a reverse rake look on my 87 with H&R races till i dialed out the rear camber. The races are very firm and you should definitely ride in someones car before you buy them for a dd. My dd is my bike in my sig that has been valved for the track so i'm used to a stiff ride when i drive my e30. It makes my fk 60/40 cupkit on my gti feel soft. but larger brakes would not be a bad investmint. Had I known how quickly my brakes over heat i would have bought the massive kit instead. They are fine as long as i don't push my car more than 80%.

if you want it to ride like a cadillac, leave it stock. if you want the car to handle go with the race springs. theres this weird cliche' on here that H&Rs are SO stiff that its unbearable. i commuted 50 miles a day round trip with no issues.

They are not unbearable just not cush like h&r sports. I like them but the g/f hates them. I think I liked races better when I had the st front sway and stock rear sway. I tossed them stocks so i can't play around with it anymore. i'm considering extending the links so i can make them a little softer.
