gold cadmium plate them... No corrosion ever

Looks like you used the steerig rack mounts for the front mounts. They gonna be able to take the stress? Very interested in the outcome of this. Chasis strength is always a plus.

Also FYI to people who said powdercoat... Most heavy industry that designes for long life (GE locomotives for example) only use powdercoat for interior items. All chasis and underbody items are painted. If you get a stone chip in your powdercoat, corrosion can build up under the surrounding coat. Quality paint is much more durable.

We use a self etching paint on our stress braces, just about as tough as powder coating yet adhears better and can be refinished.

Ahhhh, a question the Paper Pushers will allow me to answer!
One of the trial for the brace addressed this very issue there is a workaround for exhaust clearance.

We have just finished testing and have release these prototype images of the e30 lower X Brace (shown here on one of our test cars). In testing we addressed and resolved some clearance issues (both ground and machine) and the balance of weight to strength concerns addressed.

The final unit is of a larger diameter tube (lighter weight yet just as strong in tension and compression) and have additional strategically placed gusseting and supports. The final product with specs will appear on our site soon and possibly will go into production as soon as early May.

Just one question left...What color should they be?
At least 500 dollars and definitely some kind of lime green.

I'm already sold on this. I dont care what color it comes in.

What you should do is have a basic x-brace in black or red or something simple, and include a $20 option to have it painted another color. That might be nice.

Anyway I'm ready to see these on the market. I'll make mine gold damnit.

Lower your damn prices, they are downright outragous! Knowing you guys this $40 piece of steel will be $400.

Not that I care, of course.

What kind of data did you come up with from the R&D? Does it actually do something other than look pretty? Not being a dick, I would just like to see some numbers on how much this really affects chassis stiffness.

if you don't like the price of something, don't buy it.

hell, there's tons of made in china garbage for the E30 all over ebay - spend your money there, it goes a lot further. ;)
