Love my job. I fly freight in puddle -jumpers. The commute sux. Funny thing is once I get airborne I can see the congestion building. In Florida if there is slight turn or 2 degree grade elevation people have to start hitting the brakes. MORONS!

I have a good gig, but the money is a sticking issue. I took a lateral move when I was laid off about a year ago with an understanding that the money would come in about a year. It's been a year, 3 managers later no one seems too concerned with getting my salary up.
Makes for an unmotivated browntown. I have to start thinking about numero uno.

Technically I'm rocking three jobs right now. Two of which bring in money at this time.
I hate my day job as a sys admin. It pays the least of the two paying jobs. My evening job is a web design company I run, which pays me 5 fold what I get during the day, and then my other job is a bit of a startup i'm playing around with that could make me alot of money some day.
Out of the three, the one that doesn't pay me anything yet is the one that I enjoy the most.

Ouch man. Where do you work? Redmond?
I lived in Seattle a couple years ago, and made frequent trips to Tacoma. Seemed that they were mostly in the later afternoon too :?

I would have to say that I love both of my jobs.
I'm a chief instructor for my division (about 100-150 Marines), and fly a desk most of the time. I coordinate between the three sections in my division and make sure the chain of command is happy. I get paid well, and the work isn't really that hard. Being a Gunny is the shit, basically.
At night, I deliver pizza. I do this solely so that I can pay cash for my BMW habit. It's great because there is very little responsibility, I get paid to drive like a maniac, and tip money is pretty good. If the tips weren't so good, I probably wouldn't do it, because gas is a killer, obviously. (overall, I would guess that it equates to about $12-15 /hour:tips and min. wage)Slicktop City!

It's put me through college without getting loans, and paying a mortgage.

I dig my Job. Millwright/fabricator/engineer at a hot melt adhesives factory. Pay is not fantastic for what I do but I have a ton of job security and I am afforded a a lot of independance. As long as I get what I need to do done, no one bothers me at all. I have a full machine shop at my disposal at any time as well.
I could go to weyerhauser and do the same thing for $35 an hour but the lack of freedom would kill me.
Whenever you open a fedex envelope or a box of tide laundry detergent with that pull strip you can thank/curse me. I design, build, and repair the machinery that creates that little strip of adhesive coated yarn.
