Don't forget R for radial construction and the load index/speed rating.

I know the Toyos are great in the rain; I've driven down the middle lane on I-5 (deep grooves) in pouring down rain and I've never hydroplaned in them. Has anybody driven with the Bridgestones in the rain extensively?

I have on the RE950's, they have great hydo resistance, I would buy them again as a daily tire. Dry traction can't really touch the ES100's, but the wear rating on the ES100's is 280 compared to like 460...

I like my RE750s, better dry grip and hopefully better hydro resitance, although I haven't driven once in the rain. they are also quieter and give a better ride.

Obviously you have another car as it rains nearly constantly in Washington.

These are not produced in 195/65-R14 according to les schwab, i ended up getting the falken's.

apparently the RE750 and 950's were phased out of production recently as well, and i couldn't get those are firestone.

Long wearing tire. Michelin. Good wet weather and dry traction, and last forever unless they are Pilot series.

but 60 will mess with your speedometer.

Not according to the local firestone..

The guys that work in yoru shop may be dumb.. My dad was looking for Potenza's in his size, and he was told they are not made in his size.. went to another firestone shop... who had them instock, in his size.

                              Actually, no its not.

                              205/60-14 is .3" undersized from a 195/65-14.
