thats real nice dude. id try and get a stated value policy... have it appraised and then insure it for the full 2k its worth. if it gets totalled the insurance company will pay you the full 2 thousand dollars.

sorry dude but its a fact. what you have is a very nice clean automatic eta bitch car. im surprised your woman doesnt make you drive it while she force feeds you blunt cum through a straw. if i had that car the motor and tranny would already be sitting behind wayzata amoco and it would be prepped for an s54. but i keep forgetting who owns it now.

Yeah dude it's a somewhat clean car but at the end of the day it's probably one of the least desirable e30s ever made. IMO you paid a fair price for a non running eta.

It is in great shape, and personally, I'd hate to swap motors into a car with that mileage, it seems to take away from the originality. Eventually, I would do a tranny swap and try to keep it in good shape (garage, etc. etc.) but that's it.

I'd say it's worth a little more than $2k though, maybe $3k-ish. I mean, eta or not, it's still in pretty good condition.

theres some validity to what you say. if you kept this car original and took really good care of it in another 15 years or so it would be worth 2200.00 or even 2400.00
we arent talking about some rare limited edition car here. its a fucking automatic e.

It's an Automatic, but a Chip and a Rear Differential transplant (3.73) would wake it up. (Or did the Auto's come with a 3.73?)

It would be a good car for a someone that has a traffic-heavy, stop and go commute.

Okay after cleaning and putting a good layer of ArmorAll gel on all the interior, I installed new chrome rear windshield trim which was time consuming but looks 300 times better.

I then pulled the front air intake panels and gave them a new finish, then tried the windshield washer but the little sprayers were clogged with the PO's car wax. So I pulled them out and cleaned them up and re-aligned them so they spray properly now.

Then I took it for its first drive which was cut short because the driver rear break caliper is stuck, so tomorrow I will be installing new breaks!

Oh ya I also installed the light dimmer relay from george!

It works great but I don't like how when you shut the passenger door the light does not dim it just turns off, soo ill have to wire something up to make it work...

                                I got insurance today!!!

And tomorrow after breaks I will drive it to town for inspection!

As for rims and what not its just for my girl to drive till I find a 740il for her to drive, then Ill throw some brand new euro bumpers on there and h&r race and of course a 5speed... I have plans for it but for now just straight restoration.
