Hmm, my trunk stayed open for the night, hope my battery isn't dead too. I won't be able to tell until all my work is done though.

I've got an Optima... I left my parking lights on at school pretty much the whole day (about 6 hours) and the car cranked up like nothing had happened. </shamelessplug>

How about you open your trunk and see if the light still turns on? :P

Because cranking a car takes a whole lot more amps than a 5w bulb?

optimas blow, i sell them and have had nothing but warranty messes with them. Plus you cant charge them normally or test them on a normal tester or they will explode. And they are 3x heavier then a standard batterey. At Oreillys we have this battery tagged the '800' its basically a group 26 battery, cheaper, lighter and with about as many CCA's as a optima for 39.99 on sale ;)

                      Now thats a shameless plug

Whats wrong with just connecting it to the battery?

I think connecting it to the battery makes you run the risk of frying the ECU.

The ix is no different, you are just looking for a TRAY, when it is really more of an AREA where the battery would go on the eta and M10 powered cars. Just a difference in wording and how you are picturing it in your head.
SOMEBODY messed with my sig so now you get this one:
