Qualifications were interesting as always. Vettel qualified 3rd god bless him but will get that 10 spot penalty :( Congrats to Button for Pole and Jarno for the good run to the 2nd grid spot. Can't wait for the race!

I couldn't believe how fast the track was getting at the end of Q1. The last 5 minutes or so were amazing.

Finally watched Aussie GP after having a stupid hectic week, a pretty eventful race, but a disappointment for my dear old Kubi and Heidfeld. I'm losing faith in Heidfeld and I have damn near lost it with Kubi as well, moreso after his dumb door shutting move on Vettel (way to ruin the race for two hard-fighting drivers.) Kubi is known for being aggressive and for occasionally forcing others out of the way, but with the rapid pace that he was gaining on Vettel, that corner was not the optimum place to pass.

The stewards are idiots, so much so that even Bernie called the LH/McMerc fiasco unnecessary, they just hate that team so much it's gone past the point of amusement.

Malaysia quali was much of the same, essentially taking a 2008 grid and reversing it. IMO, the Brawn thing (whilst neat and something different) is a fluke. My internet has been taking monstrous shits for the last week and I can only access certain websites, so I can't check my facts on this, but it seems that the only real reason they are doing so well is because of the rear diffuser design (the same might go for the TF109, but I'm not sure.) Once the other teams catch on to this, I'm sure Brawn won't be burning up the record books like they are. Hats off to all of them, but the press seems to making a bit too many "David and Goliath" references and it gets irritating. Button is a good driver, but any car that can make that idiot Barrichello look good is fucking extraordinary.

This season has started off weird and the cars look like shit, but I'm staying up to watch the Malaysian GP at 4:30 AM. :D

                Great race from malaysia!

If you haven't seen it, I will say one thing; In a rain affected race, Heidfeld only needed one pitstop the whole afternoon.

or 1.5x now! hahaha, very exciting half a race indeed. Kudo's to Heidfeld and pity about Kubica. On to China in two weeks though I suppose.

Straight after that we were requested by the stewards, and while waiting I was instructed and misled by my team manager to withhold information, and that is what I did."

Thats pretty poor judgement. He needed to tll what is true, and this would not of been an issue. What about the implications on Trulli and Toyota? How much money did they have invested in this race? Had the stewards not investigated it any further then Toyota would be shit out of luck!

For what its worth, McLaren has suspended their sporting director Dave Ryan.
Sorry i know I'm flogging a dead horse but you mean no driver in the F1 has ever been told to omit something from their interview. Politics are played out and drivers pay the price. Sure we can argue that he was supremely unethical for not saying anything but would you? Honestly I think McMerc is shit out of luck this season especially after this shite. If anything I agree with punishing the team and not the driver. He drove the piss out of a shitty car and apologized for his cockup with the omission of information. The two retarded parties in this whole fiasco are David Ryan for being a asshat and endangering his driver by making him perjure himself and the stewards who are complete and utter idiots.

On a more positive note, Brawn is definitely gonna run this season. First Australia and now Malaysia, damn. The only joy I get is knowing they're powered by merc...

That was a really bumpy race. Kubica has some bad luck on him. He had radioed that he heard a wierd noise from the engine in the warm up lap. Glad for Heidfeld and BMW.

                                Now to wait 2 weeks:(
