              You know all brake lines made today have braided SS wire embedded in the rubber.

                and stock lines probably cost more than most of the aftermarket ones.

                there's also no such thing as "DOT approved".

                              it's not the SS braiding, but the teflon center that does not swell like rubber. the SS braid is just to protect from abrasion and give some reinforcement to the teflon.
