I'm really glad I sat down and took an hour out of my day to write a very nice review of these headers just to have some dumbass bump the thread with this. I was kind of hoping to eliminate the endless threads and idiotic responses, but this is just further proof that there is no god.

No, there is a god but he has a sick sense of humor.

new gaskets should be in on Thursday.

other than the current leak, these headers are holding up nicely and not causing any problems.

Read all eight pages with baited breath. :p If these sound good with an otherwise stock exhaust I will undoubtedly pick up a set. I've wanted a way to make the incredible stock M20 exhaust note a bit louder and aggressive, if it could be this cheap and produce power gains as well.

Anxiously awaiting sound clips and/or dyno... ;)

My buddy had an issue with these not sealing and he just installed 2 sets of gaskets. I had to do the same thing with my IE headers back in the day.

BTW just tossing this out there. I have a set of these FS but mine doesnt have the X pipe so if anyone is interested please PM me.

oh yeah guess I should of updated how it sounded after I got the major leaks fixed. well, the wrx like noise is gone(that was the leak at the cat section clamp), and the high RPM scream is gone(that was also that leak). with all the leaks fixed except for the little pht pht leak at cylinder 5, it sounds a little louder than stock a little more bassy, but thats about it. my car has the IE cat back, which is quiet to begin with and a catco high flow cat.

Later when I started the car the stupid exhaust leak was back, when I came back from groceries the leak was gone again. What does it mean If I can rub my arm against the exhaust gasket and they start to leak?
Could be because you doubled up on the gasket...
