    do you have stock muffler?
I have IE catback and catco high flow cat, but its still not too loud, I wouldn't mind a little more rumble:) , DCC got 17hp or something on a non stock motor.

When you get them on, start it up open header. I've had alot of V8 cars that i opened the headers up on. But on this inline6, it insane

Yes I agree, a truly terrifying sound.

I have a video of my car with open headers.. it doesn't really capture the sound at all though. If there weren't sound DB limits at most tracks, it would be fun to run it like that just for kicks.

                    Hehehe...

I started mine (first time) with open header as well. And a big Schrick. And then drove it like that for 900 miles... Sounds just plain awesome!!

                      Thats what these are.

they are certainly not made as well as the originals (B2B) but I test fitted them onto my spare head and they fit perfectly. I won't be using the x-pipe as I have plans for a single exhaust, but it's good enough quality that I probably could if I had to.
BTB did all the work designing the headers, getting them perfect, some really good results. Then a company called hottuning came along and copied them.

All these chinese ones are a copying this design too, but I dont think they would compare to the quality of the hottuning copies, let alone the original BTB items.
Just a little project im working on

Ebay headers are big in the e46 community and there are plenty of dyno results proving them over at e46fanatics. Most of the ebay units are made by the same Chinese companies that make supersprint headers. I put a $160 set on my e46 M3 and didn't have a problem with them at all. They are very thin though so they'll be raspy as hell.

go ahead and start soaking the nuts in PB Blaster. keep them wet as long as possible. then when you get ready to air ratchet them off, an intense amount of heat will surely assist in removal.
