That's my car! I ran the Ronal LSes for a bit, until I found my RS001s. The LSes are great wheels and fit nicely, but they're a tad on the heavy side (10+ pounds per corner heavier than my RS001s). I was running 205/55R15s in that photo, which matched the rolling diameter of the the stock 14" basketweaves on my 1991 318is. 205/50s look nice and are a spec racing tire size, so there's a lot more availability.

By the way, I saw your car at the Vintage in May. I said hello as you pulled onto the air strip at Hendersonville Airport. I'll see if I can dig up a photo I got of you rolling in.

Funny - I saw the VA plate and wondered if I'd run across the owner. I'm not super-worried about weight as I have the BBS wheels for when I really want to have fun. It seems a shame to melt the Falkens for regular driving, and they're not great in colder weather, especially if it's wet. My plan is to swap between sets. I'm going to hunt for a spare center for my BBS wheels - I've never seen a set like them, and most of that stuff is hard to find these days...

If you're ever in the Raleigh area, hit me up!

Thanks! My poor, unwashed little steed. Both this and the Vintage were a last-minute call for me (life has been complicated lately), so I didn't have any 'make it pretty time', but that's what's fun about the Vintage: everything is celebrated. :)

The suede headliner from CATuned finally showed up. I need to clear the garage out so I can have the car inside this fall to do the job...

I'm kinda thinking of getting a good dash to toss in at the same time...

My old iX Beater is up for sale...
This is a 1991 E30 325ix with a 5 speed manual, operational awd, and sport interior. This particular car would have been Lazarblau Metallic with a tan interior, optioned with the ski pass rear seats...

I keep having fuel delivery issues (vapor-lock-ish) with the E30, so I got the TRE Performance 255L/hr kit:

Going to delete the inline pump and just run through the filter

A bunch of fuel-line came today. It's the good Made-in-Germany stuff from Belmetric - apparently it's a bit of a crap-shoot out there right now and there's a lot of fuel hose that's failing way before it should, which makes me wonder about the fuel smell around the car lately.

I'm pretty sure Mike replaced a lot of it when he was building the car, but since he was sponsored by FCP Euro I'm guessing it might be the CRP stuff that folks are saying is becoming questionable. I'm going to let my shop configure this - dropping the car off Friday - but got enough to do the M635 at some point too.

Relevant stuffs. The quality of fuel lines is concerning, they should be getting better not be cheapening out. Classic cars and old cars don't need to be worrying about the quality of a brand new hose. Yeah, ranting. Good on you for going for the best quality.

Did you get it from a reseller you want to share, or straight from Belmetric?

Also, the Ronals as winter wheels look outstanding.
