Since the car got back from the shop after the conversion to the single high-pressure pump I've had what may be three problems:
Had what felt like fuel starvation when I tossed it hard on an onramp. At some point soon I'll take it back to the shop to make sure the foot is as low in the tank as possible.
There's a long-crank-no-start happening. Cycling the key a couple times seems to help, but not always. My shop wondered if there's a check valve somewhere that kept the fuel from migrating back to the tank after the car is off.
There's what feels like a vibration/stutter in the throttle
Looking back at the info I have and a quick check with Mike, this ~130K motor likely has original plugs, coils and injectors. Since so much of the rest of the car is fresh (and the rest of the fuel system is new), I decided to throw some parts at it:- new Bosch 4 pintle injectors (or based on another thread I saw, 1 pintle/4 squirters)
- new Dinan coils (supposed to have 10% more energy FWIW)
- NGK-3199 spark plugs
I sorta-doubt the FPR is bad, but went ahead and got one of those too. Will have it just in case or as a spare. Various chaos at home these days, but trying to carve out a chance to get it all in...

These coils feel extra-beefy...

Someone said these are actually 1 pintle, 4-nozzle injectors. IDGAF as long as they're even slightly better than stock...

They're Vredestein Quatrac 5 - "All Season Car & Crossover Tire" in 205/50R15
The Tire Rack reviews show them to be very good in Wet and Dry (9.1 in both) and pretty good (8.4) in Winter/Snow (which should be fine for North Carolina) and very good (8.7) for Comfort. Not bad but not great for Treadwear (8.0), but I can live with that for the price, especially given they'll only be on the car five or six months a year.1985 E30 S52 - Daily Driver

It is common for the in tank rubber hose between the pump and hanger on new pumps to squeeze closed/tear/leak. Definitely worth checking and replacing with high quality submersible fuel hose.

I just replaced all the fuel lines - will re-check it's submersible, but 97% sure it was...1985 E30 S52 - Daily Driver

I should've included a photo the first time. I'm referring to this type of hose that is typically included with new pump/hanger assemblies. If you installed a new pump into your existing hanger, you likely didn't use this type of line. I have seen the circled hose cause hard to diagnose fuel pressure issues on multiple occasions so I wanted to mention it since you recently replaced your pump.

I really appreciate the insight - I'll swing by my shop tomorrow...I should've included a photo the first time.
