You gave me the inspiration to look for one. Don't worry I won't copy your full lineup, I don't see a E36M3 in my (near) future.

This is great knowledge. I had seen the luxury lines listed while looking but never realize what the difference was.

For sure planning to get at least the M-sport front bumper within the next year.

I had planned on doing this, but the full kit is front/rear bumper and side skirts. I felt like it was too much effort to look like an m-sport without actually being one. Besides, the sport line is still a neat package.

these f3x car just have so much potential for customization. You can get a factory heads up display, comfort access, soft close doors, privacy shades, small/large iDrive, swap in an mmi to get car play / android auto, swap in a NBT Evo ID 4/5/6, brake packages (4 pot front grey with 1 pot rear, 4 pot front blue with 2 pot rear, m performance brake upgrade, etc.), mperformance tune/engine cover/muffler, jb4 piggyback, bm3 or mhd tune, intakes, turbo inlets, turbos, downpipes, intercoolers. the list just goes on and on.

one cool thing is adding rear fog lights. you just need to pop out your headlight switch module, trim a bit of plastic so a button can push, then code it to enable the lights. all wiring, switch mechanism, and LEDs exist.

Coding opens up a whole world of possibilities: if you have comfort access, you can customize how the windows and sunroof open. you can turn off the iDrive warning message at startup. You can enable the iDrive to play DVDs, even while driving.

Tuning with BM3 (the better option) or mhd (better for n54 cars) opens up options for tunes for 87/91/93 gas, adjust exhaust burbbles, muffler flap open or closed, removing speed limiter, boost by gear, and on and on.

i stopped with tuning, coding, and intercooler/downpipe/charge pipe. Its plenty fast and also has been dead reliable. I just needed to change coils and plugs at the normal interval.

do you have a good source to find all of these? I’ve been trying to evaluate the effectiveness and costs of some mentioned, but I haven’t really found it laid out clearly. Any guides and explanations?

I don't have any source for body panels.

lots of mods from extreme power house, they have good deals and support.

coding, i use bimmer code and bimmer link for diag.

tuning, can buy bm3 direct from pro tuning freaks, extreme power house, or buy a "used" license online (each license can be moved 1 time to a new VIN)

I put Washington gas in it when all the California gas was used up. Does that count?
