I'm glad to see your car is still kickin' and personally love the new look. It's is very much a purpose built machine, and even the wing(which is over the top ridiculous) fits the car very well.

If I saw that e30 on the street I would straight up roll my eyes in disapproval. BUT If I saw it swinging laps on a drift circuit, I guess I could tolerate it...

Having said that, and hear me out;
Why on EARTH, would you build up an e30 like that? I love e30's, I think they look great, on the street and on the track. But Japanese styling suites Japanese cars. With The amount of time and effort put into that e30, you could have built up a bad ass looking Carola, or a 240, or some other Jap beater? Why an e30?

whoa now. none of this shit was free by any means guys. i still had to pay for this stuff. but its still was cheaper than buying a s50/s52 or turbocharging an m50 or m20. plus its lighter and is going to make the car more agile. which is what the main purpose was. even after motor,tranny,turbo,twin disc clutch and fuel managementim still a good amount under 3k....

I read over this thread again and have decided that the main reason I don't like the car is your demeanor. You come off as a complete douche. Your use of lol after everything makes you seem like an uneducated asshole. You DO have a holier than thou attitude as outlined by the quotes above. The "someone who gets it" line really makes me dislike you.

And on that note, here is my personal opinion on the car: Hideous wing, odd color for the wheels, and a Japanese engine in a BMW pretty much kills it for me.

some people are just closed minded about what should go into an e30 chassis. im very open minded about stuff like that and if it works for E-rich, then it opens up more possibilies for engine swaps. Hell i've been wanting to do a F20c swap into an e30 for the longest time.
