Rheese Millens Solstice (although a hardtop was placed over the cage it still counts)

And im still pondering the motor... I have the bowtie, I can easily get a factory reman s14, AND now my friend just totalled his R32 so now i've been offered a VR6 with drivetrain.

    ohh the decisions...
Let's get this straight: 2 of the three example cars you listed weren't built by grassroots guys in some random suburban garage and I am sure that any trackworthy Miata did not cut out the steel behind the seats. I will guarantee you don't have the tools, knowledge or engineering background to pull it off and to explain it is beyond you. As a matter of fact, the only time that it's done is when adapting a completely different suspension setup which I am positive you aren't doing and again are not capable of.
People who do things like that usually don't say things like you do or go about presenting a build thread the way you do. It starts with engineering, which starts with a plan and follows with detailed steps to completion. Your youtube post did nothing more than prove the point that you don't have the know-how to pull it off. If you try to do it with your limited knowledge, experience and equipment then please allow me to be the first to say it will not pass tech for anything...ever.

To sum it up. You can't, you won't, so don't.

Did he just say that the solstice from D1 is exactly like his vert? Dude, They don't hack up the body because it helps rigidity, there is a reason why noone has ever removed that piece of metal. What should I know, I'm just a kid with a 318.

...god i cant believe how much you people love wasting your time. aside from maybe the first 5 posts and those made by my SCe36 friends NOT ONE single person in here is man enough to encourage this build. The fact is i HAVE a Cabrio, I DONT have a coupe or a sedan so I'm making do with what i have. Its amazing the support I get from EVERYONE on SCe36 vs the lack thereof (prolly due to lack of actual experience) on r3v. Shoot ever the idiots on SoCalEuro are more helpful.

Personally I just finished my honda hatch with the s14 swap. So I think you should go duel s14. Gut the trunk and install two of them. Then paint it to match your Daddy's boat and golf cart.

I personally would put one of the Bugatti's v8s in the cabby. Just call the dealer I am sure a blow job and 3k later with your connections you can get the job done.

GL cannot wait to see the Bucabbi
