Honestly, that car is a good starter car, but don't pour money into it. About the only mod worth it is a chip on the eta. Save your money for maintenance parts. This car, if just left alone, will strand you at the most inconvenient of times.

It's an E30. Never be afraid to cut bait. Ever.

Besides oil changes and normal takin care of things when they go wrong what else should I definetly keep up with?

          Thanks

                          Im really glad it wasnt

                          update:

So today i went to best buy to pick up an ipod compatible head unit and planned on spending 150 bucks. Turns out the didnt have the needed wiring and stuff in stock then i saw they had fm modulators on sale for 2.99 marked down from 45.99, yes, i sad 2.99, so my friend grabbed one too. Came home, pulled the radio, hooked it up and ran the ipod cable down out of the center consol, and it works perfectly so stoked! looks better with the stock unit too. Also snatched a front valance lip thing off a totalled e30 for free, makes a huge difference in look, the front looked so bad before. It wasnt a perfect fit but some zip ties and drilling some holes was all it needed. also threw the racks on

Nice last shot! The car is coming along very nicely. Haha yeah, isn't Nick's car rusted out on the bottom though? I thought he mentioned some sort of structural issue...Sick car none-the-less, I bet its fast.

For 500 bucks i dont think anyone would give a fuck aslong as it runs. haha. Its actually in really nice condition for what it is. He takes care of it thought, its a cool story.

the picture was last minute shot in my driveway, wanted to get a shot with the new lip.

Fast? Schmea. Wish i waited and got a later model 325is, oh well, i wasnt very well read on e30s then and i overpayed so it doesnt make sense to sell and find something else, ill work with what i got. Its been chipped, what else should i start thinking of doing to it performance wise thats not to hard

you might as well get the water pump too while you're in there with the timing belt. (its only 3 more nuts)
