yeah the impreza is everything I need in a DD/winter car. AWD, good on gas, big enough to haul what I need...and not terribly ugly

a 2008+ 2.5i hatch is what i'm looking to get

haha def not garage queen! retire = just not drive it to commute w/ or to Vermont which I frequent in the winter. I plan on driving the thing a lot still....just the elements of daily driving it is starting to take its toll. I live in NY & work in NJ, so I drive roughly 1500 miles/month with the thing just on commuting alone....not to mention all my other misc driving I do. The E30 I've put about 80-100K miles since I've owned it. The E46 M3 I drive in the summer occasionally and I still avg 10-12K miles a yr w/ that. I drive a ton even w/ 2 cars....so a 3rd isn't a crazy idea in my head.

This means time for a second ix right? But that's pretty much what I had to do with mine, I drive it a lot in the summer but not to much in the snow and salt anymore
