    Tightened that large 22mm? Nut underneath the dash on the steering column. All I can say is wow. I've been driving this car for almost 6 yrs w this loose steering wheel play that I initially attributed to suspension components up front. I neglected to tighten this nut (wasn't even that loose) but it made all the difference as far as wayyy tighter steering, feedback and no more destructive sounding steering column noises when hitting NYC potholes. If you have an airbag car, be sure this nut is tight if your experiencing steering wheel play.
